A classic sock worked top down in quick stockinette, with small touches of stranded colorwork at the cuff and toe. These socks have forethought heels and matching wedge toes that are fully replaceable, and I’ve upgraded the fit with simple increases so they hug your ankle perfectly and won’t slide into your shoes.
Instructions are for two styles: short socks or a crew length with an old-school tapered leg.
Available on Ravelry.
Details below.
The cuff and toe colorwork is done with just two colors in each round, and the pattern includes both charts and written instructions. Charts for three sample color combinations are included, and I’ve also added blank charts to color in, for trying out your own combinations.
